John and Polly Tucker are the owners of John Tucker Fine Arts; with their associate, Chris Carr, the principals have a combined experience of more than 50 years of collecting and dealing in fine and folk art.
Featured in the beautiful townhouse are fine examples of seventeenth through twentieth century landscapes, genre and still life paintings, folk art and fine contemporary painting. Not art hung on pristine walls in bare rooms. But art lived with, art that’s part of our daily lives. We buy what excites us most. And because our tastes are eclectic, so is our collection.
John Tucker Fine Arts, “Fine and Folk Art of Three Centuries,” is located in historic downtown Savannah, at 5 West Charlton Street, on beautiful Madison Square. The gallery, in a restored nineteenth century home, is an excellent setting in which to view these exceptional works of art.
